I still have the original game on floppy disk, including all the tour of duties in their original boxes and complete with everything they originally came with.
SECRET WEAPONS OF THE LUFTWAFFE PC
I was so looking forward to Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe coming to the Amiga as the graphics would have been so much better.īut alas it never was ported over and it was the reason why I bought a PC for back then as I so wanted to play this game and that's how I ended up in the PC world. I use to have an Amiga 5 (actually still have my 2000 in the garage) and I had the previous game Battle of Britain. I have fond memories of playing this game for hours and days on end and staying up till all hours of the night. I have been wanting a remake of this awesome game for years and I still hope that one day it is remade. Also, Operation Harsh Doorstop is something they are publishing and it appears to be shaping nicely (free to play game, similar to Squad and Project Reality made by the one and only Bluedrake and his #community) Task Force Admiral and Sea Power are definite insta-buys for me, so if they turn out good, I'll be shilling all over the web about it. Hopefully with all the stuff they have lined up, they will make some money and maybe revive some other classics.
Should be interesting, I can't play VR though ?. They are making a B-17 remake, but it's supposedly a VR game rather than a flight sim. Someone borrowed my a copy years later, but it did not run on a modern system at all, so I stuck with Sturmovik.Īnyway, Microprose appears to be back and they have some impressive titles announced - they are not flight sims though. I only played the demo, but it didn't run well on my machine, not to mention some graphical issues.

For it's time it looked amazing and had this typical 90's Western sim style with cool menus and briefings and music and such. EAW is one of those games I missed out on and can't get over it.
